Me

Jordan Steinhauer is a director, writer, and producer from St. John's, NL, currently based in Toronto.

 

Some of her previous work includes The View From Here, It Is Good (CBC Ottawa), the TVO Short Doc Contest top 10 finalist, I Am Apollo, the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival [Interactive] Incubator winning webseries, Absorbed, and Watching Karla Homolka, which screened at national and international festivals including the Toronto True Crime Film Festival, the NSI Online Short Film Festival, and Final Girls Berlin.

 

Currently, Jordan is working as an Associate Producer with Canada's most-watched documentary program, CTV's W5.

 

Jordan's previous Associate Producer and Researcher credits include Killer in the Village (OUTtv), Surviving the Block (OUTtv), Battle of the Alphas (Blue Ant/ Love Nature), Loons: A Cry from the Mist (Love Nature/ Cottage Life), and the Canadian Screen Award nominated documentary In Search of a Perfect Society (CBC/ZDF). She is also the producer and writer of OUTtv's LGBTQ+ true crime and social justice podcast Examination and Chief.

Jordan is currently working on her first scripted short film, Meshugana (wt), which tells the real story of one family's experience with anti-Semitism after immigrating to North America post-WWII.
